A Halloween Happy Birthday

Mom will play a few tunes for us.

I went to my favorite florist and got her best blackened roses for this occasion.

For you see, it's not just Halloween but another birthday for me!

I'll be wearing my special birthday hat.

I washed my favorite dress.

I even ordered a new pair of shoes; had them shipped express overnight broomstick to make sure I got them in time.

Some spider cakes ~ an old family recipe.

Mom's got a chowder simmering in the cauldron. I'm never sure what those crunchy bits are, but she says they are good for us.

Of course, we'll be serving our own home-made brew. Just watch out for the bartender ~ last year he was taking nips from his own "private stock" and went after all the girls trying to give them hickeys or some such nonsense. That crazy, Vlad!

And, of course, birthday cake! I'm 21 ~ every year!
