Second Ripple Finished
This the beginning
I just posted the second afghan on my No-End-In-Sight - Ripple Along, where a lot of neat rippling is going on.
It was for my very first great grandson. He was supposed to be born in July and I was just about to make the deadline to get it to him before he was born and he went and came two weeks early. I finished it on July 1st and it's in the mail...on it's way to the Midwest.
It is really soft, LionBrandYarn, Baby Soft with a G hook. It washed up really nice, too. I decided not to edge it like I had planned. I really like the scalloped look it already had and figured I couldn't improve upon it, besides, I wanted to get it the mail. The Baby-ghan is 48"X48". I felt really pleased it came out to be square. I was worried for a while, because I wanted to end with blue.
Here is is finished...
My next one may wait a bit. I've decided on the colors but not the pattern. It will be a ripple, of course, but what kind I don't know yet.
